Returns Policy
 

Whole Earth Provision Co. offers easy online return services for our customers.
 

When a product fails to meet your expectations due to a defect or other problem related to quality or performance, we will do our best to quickly remedy the situation.
 

We will also accept returns on items for one year from the date of purchase with the receipt, if the item in sellable condition, in its original packaging and with its tags, unworn (save for trying on at home for look and size), unwashed, and unblemished (no scuffs, rips, stains, or smells). If you no longer have proof of purchase or the receipt, our Customer Service representatives may be able to help.
 

Items NOT in sellable condition that are returned within 1 year are not eligible for a refund and will be shipped back to the address on file.
 

Our return policy does not cover wear and tear due to intended use, abuse, or accidents. Products that may carry a ‘Lifetime’ guarantee from the vendor refer to the lifetime of the materials, not the life of the owner of such product. Materials naturally breakdown over time and won’t be warranted past their lifetime.
 

If a product has a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship within the vendor’s warranty timeline, please contact support@wholeearthprovision.com. 
 

All sales are final on sale items and climbing gear. There are no returns or exchanges on structurally rated climbing hardware, ropes, slings, helmets, and shoes. Please, make sure you’re 100% positive with your selections of climbing gear and sale items before purchase or buy a gift card and visit one of our fine retail locations for hands-on selection of climbing gear.

 

Returns Process
 

Items purchased at Whole Earth’s stores can be returned* up to 1 year from the date of purchase by mail or by visiting any of our retail locations. Proof of purchase or a receipt is required. If you unable to find either, customer service may be able to help you find the required information.
 

If you choose to mail your return rather than bringing it in to one of our stores, contact Customer Service and request a Return Authorization number [RA].  We will also email you a return label for the item(s), and you will have 10 days to ship your return package. When Whole Earth generates a return shipping label, $7.50 will be deducted from the credit for your purchase when the return is received and processed. If your package was oversized or incurred special shipping fees, the charge may be higher.
 

If you prefer to handle shipping the return yourself, be sure to contact Customer Service to receive an RA number, and be sure to keep a record of the tracking number for your package. Whole Earth is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.
 

Please send all product packaging and tags. Items must be in new, sellable condition for a refund. 
 

When the return is received and processed, our Returns Department will refund your account with the original form of payment, minus a shipping fee if applicable. If the returned items were purchased in-store using cash, we will mail a check to your address on file.
 

*Please note: item(s) must be in sellable condition to be returnable. Sellable condition is defined as item(s) must be in original packaging with manufacturing tags, unworn (save for trying on at home for look and size), unwashed, and unblemished (no scuffs, rips, stains, or smells).
