Whole Earth has a long tradition of offering eye-catching t-shirts. We have our own classic designs like the Jim Franklin Armadillo Tent and the Bears. We also bring you t-shirts from Life Is Good, Howler Brothers, Patagonia, Sendero Provisions and other topnotch creators. Here are a few of our favorites from the new crop of tees in our stores.

Kerrville Folk Festival T-shirt

We are so excited to be a part of this year's Kerrville Folk Festival! You won't have to travel to Kerrville to acquire this beauty. You'll find it in our Whole Earth stores! The festival runs from May 22nd through June 8th at the Quiet Valley Ranch. This year you can arrive appropriately attired or support the festival at a distance if you won't be able to get to Kerrville. The back of the tee presents this year's lineup. Come hear your favorites at the festival and, fingers crossed, discover a rising star singer songwriter by a campfire.

Whole Earth Provision Co. Mockingbird Tee

This past year we've been adding tees for each of our stores like the Howdy Y'all for our North Lamar store in Austin and the Smoke Stacks that tower over the San Antonio store. Here's the latest Whole Earth t-shirt representing our store in Dallas on Mockingbird Lane. It's made of comfortable 100% cotton fabric. And even if you've never been to our Mockingbird store, we think there's a sizeable number of you out there that are fans of the avian Mockingbird. Beloved by birders, did you know that the Mockingbird's mimicry of the songs of other birds makes it a valuable source for compiling a list of resident birds in an area? The Mockingbid is also good at reproducing the sounds of squeaky gates, ring tones and car alarms. What a gift!

Howler Brothers Men's Flocka Seagulls Cotton T-Shirt

Howler Brothers has a gift for making standout t-shirts. This year is no exception. We particularly like the Flocka Seagulls. The graphic representation of seagulls is reminiscent of a Charley Harper design - simple and direct with a touch of humor. Made of a comfortable mid-weight 100% cotton fabric, the Flocka Seagulls will feel right at home for a day by the water, at the beach or really any day where you're planning to enjoy time outdoors or indoors with friends and family.

Howler Brothers Men's Jacquard T

Another one of our favorites from Howler Brothers is the Jacquard T. At first glance you might think that a shirt from your childhood was making a comeback. But this is so much more than that. On closer inspection, you'll realize that this fabric is special. It's a custom 100% cotton knit jacquard. And what is jacquard you might ask? Jacquard is a special weaving technique that creates fabrics known for their complexity, beauty, and durability. Trust us, your childhood t-shirt wasn't even close. Note the subtle Howler Brothers call out in the stripe. Heed the call in Howler!

Smartwool Women's Osa Vega Short Sleeve Graphic Tee

We admit to a fondness for bear t-shirts and Smartwool tees. While merino wool in summer may seem like a dubious choice, we're here to testify that the 50% merino wool and 50% organic cotton blend is cool and comfortable. These tees are also lightweight and great for layering. The design Osa Vega or Bear Meadow might be a treasured Mother's Day gift for any mama bears on your list or a treat for yourself for a summer of fun.

Life is Good Women's Inhale Exhale Crusher-LITE Vee

Life Is Good has had a string of flower themed tees that we love. The latest is Inhale Exhale that features lotus blossoms on a cornflower blue background with the encouragement to inhale courage and exhale fear. The tee is made of 100% lightweight cotton that has been pre-washed for added softness. We also note the presence of three dragonflies in the mix. In Asian cultures the combination of lotus and dragonfly can symbolize rising above challenges and embracing positive change.  Wisdom for us all this summer.

Sendero Provisions Co. Women's Cosmic Cowgirl Boxy Tee

You may have seen Sendero t-shirts for men in our stores for the past few years. They're a Texas company located up the road in Waco. While they've been generous with their sizing, we are thrilled that they are now offering women's t-shirts, shirts and dresses. We love their dresses, but at the moment they are only available at our San Antonio store and online. So we would like to introduce you to the Cosmic Cowgirl Boxy Tee before it's gone. We know some Cosmic Cowgirls who combine the best of the West with a deep love for the mysteries of the Cosmos. If you know one or are one, here's your t-shirt!

Outhouse Designs Unisex Davy's Big Adventure Tee

And here's a t-shirt from Outhouse Designs that looks like it sprang out of a 1950s magazine rack. It hits all the right vibes. Davy Crockett (cue King of the Wild Frontier), a cast of heroes and villains, the Alamo, and… a cruiser? Well. the realm of space-time is known to be flexible, so why not? But wait, we have just been informed that this is a sly tip of the hat to a certain 1980s childhood favorite of tv and movie fame. That was unexpected. Returning to our original topic, we are also intrigued by the suggestion of "Astonishing Texas Tales from the Basement of the Alamo!" What could they be? Honor your inner child with this tee and get ready for some great stories and adventures of your own.

Life is Good Kids Life Was Good Prehistoric Era Crusher Tee

Kids love dinosaurs. Usually, it's more of a crush. But some kids keep the flame alive for years and grow up to be paleontologists.  Whether their love will be short and sweet, or they're in it for the long run, kids will enjoy wearing this fun t-shirt and identifying the dinosaurs for you. Helpfully, the dinos' names are included so you can help should the need arise. The T. Rex and the Triceratops are easy, but will they know the Ankylosaurus?
