The Dawning of a New Chapter in Whole Earth History....

Welcome to Whole Earth Provision Co.’s newest store! Our online store is open for business almost 47 years to the day since we opened our first store in Bluebonnet Plaza near the University of Texas in Austin. How our Whole Earth stores have changed in the years between these two events!

Our original store was created as a place where shoppers could check out items described in the Whole Earth Catalog, which Steve Jobs once described as “Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along.” We’re still carrying a few classic items from those days like Piñon incense and Dr. Bronner’s soap. Today, our stores are treasure troves of clothing and shoes for men, women and kids, travel and outdoor gear, toys, books and gifts for all ages. Many of our current items didn’t exist back in the 1970s, like GoPro cameras and YETI Ramblers. While we honor our past, we’re always on the lookout for new items that make life better and more fun.

Throughout almost fifty years of serving our customers, we have worked hard to provide quality goods, useful advice, a fun shopping experience and excellent customer service.  Our challenge with the new online store is bringing those qualities that have set us apart from other retailers out onto the web. We’re ready to go and hope that you’ll join us on our latest adventure.

If you shop in our brick and mortar stores, you’ll see that many items you can find in our stores are not yet represented on these pages. But, they’re coming. We’re adding new products everyday.
