Welcome 2021!Posted by Whole Earth | 12.11.2020
Never have so many people been so glad to see a year end. Goodbye 2020! And while we do have some good memories, overall, it’s been a year to try all our souls. So we’re welcoming 2021 with hope and happy hearts.
Whole Earth has traditionally been closed for two days during New Year. It’s an opportunity for our staff to take some well-deserved time off to head outdoors or stay close to home with family or pod. This year our Whole Earth stores will be closed on Thursday and Friday, December 31st and January 1st. We’ll reopen for business on Saturday, January 2nd, refreshed and ready to go.
As we pause to look back over 2020, what lessons can we bring with us into the New Year? Here’s our shortlist.
Get outdoors every day. No excuses. Walking around the block, going for a hike on a favorite trail, or just sitting outside listening to birds or wind in the trees can work wonders.
Go easy on the snacks. A stressed body does better with healthy foods no matter how much our inner child is crying out for soothing chocolate or chips and queso.
Be kind. Start with the people near and dear to you. This year has been tough on everyone. A little kindness can go a long way, spreading from one person to another and another, making things a little easier for us all.
So with hope in our hearts for the year to come, we wish you a fun and safe New Year’s holiday. We look forward to meeting with you again in 2021!
