New Toy and Kids' Book Drive 2024 For the 13th year, Whole Earth Provision Co. is sponsoring the New Toy and Kids’ Book Drive. We’ve been collecting new toys and books for children who, through no fault of their own, might not receive gifts for the holidays. Hiking and Camping with Dogs We love hiking and camping with our friends and family, and that includes our canine family members as well. Whenever we decide to hike or head out for a camping trip, we plan ahead. We’ll research trails and campgrounds, make lists of the gear and food we’ll need, and have alternative plans in case of bad weather or other unforeseen events. Put to the test in the Bob Marshall Wilderness! A group of Latino Outdoors Program Coordinators took part in a Community Science Project in the mountains of Montana. They volunteered for a research project that collected DNA samples from streams in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. During the trip they backpacked up to 10 miles a day in the remote wilderness.
