The Borealis is an updated version of a classic The North Face daypack, ready for school, travel, work, workouts and hikes and organized to carry what you need and to do it comfortably. Like all TNF packs, the Borealis is made with quality materials, constructed for daily use, and carrying heavy loads.
There are four thoughtfully designed compartments. At the top of the pack, you’ll find an external fleece-lined pocket for glasses, a phone or other electronics. The front interior compartment includes a padded tablet sleeve as well as a large zippered pocket and three smaller pockets. The large main compartment is unstructured and can be filled with books, notebooks and gear for work, play or exercise. And behind it is a dedicated, highly protective, zippered compartment that can hold up to a 15” laptop.
The exterior of the Borealis has two expandable side pockets that can be used for water bottles, a travel umbrella, even for quick access to a phone. There’s also an adjustable external bungee cord that allows you lash on additional gear. The pack has a 360 degree reflective bike-light loop located near the bottom and reflective tabs on the water bottle side pockets, bungee attachments and on the shoulder straps for a bit of added nighttime visibility.
The FlexVent suspension system features a back panel covered with heavily cushioned mesh pads and center and side vents for airflow. The shoulder straps are padded with a custom injection molded foam for added comfort. The sternum strap includes a whistle on the buckle, and the waist belt can be removed and easily reattached as needed. And should you have to carry the Borealis, it has a padded handle.
So enter to win a Borealis of your very own, and if, alas, luck passes you by, visit any of our stores and take a look at one of The North Face’s most popular daypacks. It may be just what you’re looking for!
