Whole Earth at the Houston Astros
The San Francisco Giants won the baseball game, but Mr. Hector Garza (pictured below, in center) won a brand new bookpack at a recent game at Minute Maid Park. The Houston Astros honored Whole Earth Provision Company as their ‘Green Organization of the Week’ at the ball game played on August 4th. A contingent of Whole Earthworms (a term of endearment when used to refer to Whole Earth employees and friends) attended the game, some of whom occupied a table on the concourse to tell passing baseball fans about Whole Earth. We also held a drawing for The North Face pack held in this photo by the winner. Hector is flanked by Whole Earth staffers Marc Hamilton (on left) and John Chinnici.
