Colorado Tourism’s Green Camp Specialist is coming to town to offer tips on Leave No Trace, protecting the environment from forest fires, and the latest eco-friendly camp gear.
Whether it’s hiking, camping, biking or climbing, summer is a perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors. Many of our stores’ visitors come to us to be outfitted for the Rocky Mountain wilderness of Colorado. With more than 50 state parks, four national parks, and thousands of acres of forest land, Colorado is truly the “Outdoor Adventure State.”
The Colorado Tourism Office is bringing their Green Camp Specialist, Nate Disser, to the Dallas Whole Earth Provision Company store this Monday. Nate is the Owner/Director and Lead Guide of Southwest Adventure Guides, LLC. He’s also trained in Leave No Trace ethics. - *Green Tips for Outdoor Adventures: Helpful “Leave No Trace” Practices
- *Do’s and Don’ts of Building Campfires
- *Latest Eco-friendly Camp Gear
Attendees will also have a chance to win a free outdoor adventure vacation in Colorado.
