Whole Earth Provision Company and Patagonia Footwear have teamed up to provide a $1000 donation to Armand Bayou Nature Center (www.abnc.org) located in the southeast portion of Houston. The donation was inspired by the opening in November, 2008 of a second Whole Earth location in Houston in the Galleria area – at the corner of Westheimer and Post Oak. On December 6^th Patagonia held a trunk show at the Post Oak store to help celebrate the Grand Opening. Patagonia’s factory representative, Sabine Bildstein, spent the afternoon talking footwear with all who stopped by the shoe department. Among that number was Tom Kartrude, Executive Director of Armand Bayou Nature Center. Whole Earth and Patagonia are proud to sponsor the Nature Center and urge everyone to visit their website, and then spend an afternoon at their wonderful 2500 acres of urban wilderness.
