We’ve all been to scenic spots that have been loved to death: the earth hard-packed, trash-strewn and exhausted. Too many visitors leave their mark on the land and its beauty and ecological integrity are compromised. But there is a better way: Leave No Trace.

Leave No Trace
teaches those who love the outdoor life to consider the effect their activities have on the environment and techniques to prevent and minimize those impacts.

In February and March, Whole Earth Provision Company will be hosting Leave No Trace events at the Dallas Mockingbird, Austin North Lamar, and San Antonio stores. LNT’s Traveling Trainer Team will be introducing Leave No Trace principles through engaging, hands-on activities. These principles, in brief, are:

• Leave What You Find
• Minimize Campfire Impacts
• Respect Wildlife
• Be Considerate of Other Visitors
